Winnings, refund and cancellation policy
When a single bet is won, the net winnings correspond to the amount of the stake multiplied by the odds, less the stake itself. When a multiple combination bet (accumulator) is won, the winnings correspond to the initial stake multiplied by the multiplication of the odds for each of the events that you predicted. Before undertaking the first payment of winnings generated by a member, Bet On Tennis shall request the customer to send a copy of his identity card (or any other document proving his identity). This document will enable the company to check that the personal data given during the member's registration corresponds to what appears on the document. In the event that this data is different, Bet On Tennis shall reserve the right to cancel the bets along with the payment of winnings to the member in question, unless the client can demonstrate his entitlement to the balance by some other means. Bet On Tennis reserves the right to correct any potential calculation errors in a customer's account balance at any time, including for bets whose winnings have been awarded. The company undertakes to communicate to the member concerned the statement of the corrections made. The maximum amount of winnings payable to the customer is limited to 10,000 Euros per customer and per bet if it concerns a single or a multiple. Bet On Tennis will apply this rule without having to notify the customer - at the time that he confirms his bet - that the potential payout for the bet he has just placed is higher than the maximum amount of 10,000 Euros, which will be paid to him if he wins his bet. The limit of winnings that can be accumulated by any one customer during one week (from Monday at 00.00 to the following Sunday at 24.00 (Central European Time) is 25,000 Euros. The minimum stake for any bet is 1 Euro. There is no stated maximum limit for bets, however Bet On Tennis reserves the right to limit the maximum stake for certain bets, without communicating them on the website. If this is the case and you place a bet whose stake exceeds the limit fixed by the company, the system will nonetheless accept your bet at a lower stake and inform you about it. If a customer has placed several identical bets (single bets or bets in one or several multiple combinations) whose winnings exceed the fore mentioned limits, Bet On Tennis shall reserve the right to reduce the stakes placed by the customer on the bets concerned such that the customer's winnings remain within the defined winnings' limits. Any complaint with regard to the account statements or account balance should be communicated to Bet On Tennis within 14 days from the publication of the information on the site which has given rise to the complaint. Continued use of the site by a member during a period of more than 14 days from the publication date of his account statements, without any complaint being made with regard to them, shall be deemed as acceptance of this information by the member.
Bets
Any bets placed through the Bet On Tennis site are binding on both parties: the company on the one side, and the member who placed the bet on the other. Each bet is considered to be effective once the member confirms his bet on the Bet On Tennis site and as soon as the confirmed stake appears in the member's account. Once the bet has been confirmed, the member can no longer cancel it, nor alter its features. Bet On Tennis reserves the right to refuse to accept any bet without notification, justification or compensation. Bet On Tennis shall in no way be held liable for typing, transmission or odds errors. Bet On Tennis reserves the right to subsequently correct, with retroactive effect, obvious errors concerning the entry of odds and/or results (for example: a mistaken inversion of teams, odds, results, etc.). You declare that you have not been informed of the result of the event(s) involved in your bet(s) at the time the bet was placed. You cannot place a bet involving an event in which you are taking active part, in any capacity. In this case, Bet On Tennis shall reserve the right to void the bet(s) concerned. In the event that information likely to make the result of a competition predictable is made public during the bet acceptance period, Bet On Tennis shall be allowed to void the bet concerned. For individual bets, this means the company will refund the stake into the user's account. In a combination bet, this means that the combined bet stands but the total odds will be calculated without the odds of the bet that has been declared void, that is this bet will be evaluated at odds of 1.00. The time indicated by Bet On Tennis constitutes the limit (deadline) after which you will no longer be allowed to place a bet, irrespectively of the real starting time of the event. Bet On Tennis applies the rule according to which the participant at a competition is declared to be a winner at the latest on the same day as the competition at midnight. Any modification of the results or classification arising after this time limit, such as a disciplinary measure, will therefore have no incidence on the result of the competition, which has been stated earlier. However, in the event that proof is established that a competition has been fixed, Bet On Tennis reserves the right to void bets involving this competition such that the customer recovers his stake. When an event (match or competition) is cancelled or postponed or abandoned, any relevant bets still remain valid if the event is resumed within 48 hours from its original starting time, otherwise bets will be deemed void. However, bets related to results already acquired at the moment of suspension (for example, the half-time result) will be settled regularly. In the event that the competitions are presented erroneously (e.g. inversion of the visiting/home teams, an opponent not playing against the displayed team), the bets concerned will be deemed void. In the event of at least two competitors being declared the winner (Dead Heat), the odds will be resettled so your winnings would be divided by the number of “Dead Heat” winners. Example: In a Formula 1 race. Schumacher has odds of 6.00 for victory and Alonso at odds of 3.00 Both cars pass the finish line at the exact same time and both drivers are declared the winner.
A bet on match result is deemed valid when the first point is played out. If the statutory number of sets are not completed, then set betting is void. If during a tennis match, one of the players abandons, then his opponent is declared winner of the match result bet placed on this match. In the event of a change in venue or surface all bets will be stand. If there is a change in the number of sets played i.e. a match is changed from the best of 5 sets to the best of 3 sets, outright bets will stand but set betting will be void. Handicap betting: The match must be completed for handicap bets to stand - in the event of a withdrawal all bets will be void regardless of the score at the time of the withdrawal. All outright bets will stand whether a player competes or not.
Sportal Content
All material on the site is owned by Sportal, or (as warranted) by its licensors, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, republish, post, transmit or distribute in any way any material from this site including the underlying code and software, save as authorised by this agreement. Sportal reserves the right to sue for breach of its intellectual property rights.
You are only authorised to use the site and its contents for your personal, non-commercial use. This amounts to viewing the site and printing off individual pages or sections for personal use. You may not use any part of the material on this site to establish, maintain or aid in the establishment or maintenance of your own publications, Internet or other.
User Content
Any content provided by you by, for example, posting messages to bulletin boards or chat forums, uploading files, inputting data, or engaging in any other form of communication through this service, although owned by you, is subject to a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive, unrestricted, world-wide licence allowing Sportal to use, copy, sublicense, adapt, transmit, publicly perform or display any such content.
This licence does not apply to the message content of your personal email account, the privacy and integrity of which will be respected at all times.
3. SPORTAL'S OBLIGATIONS
Sportal will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that the site and the facilities thereon (including newsletters, personal email and chat forums - Community Services) is/are available at all times and that the Sportal supplied content on the site is true, accurate and error free. However we do not guarantee this and provide no warranties unless specifically stated.
4. USER OBLIGATIONS
You warrant that all content submitted or posted by you to the site does not violate the rights of any third party.
In relation to the site and the Community Services, you may only use these for personal non-commercial purposes. You will ensure that all information provided on Registration Forms is accurate and kept up to date by using the "Modify" template as appropriate. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur through your use of the services, including all activities that take place under your email account.
You will not use the site or the Community Services: in connection with chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise); to harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses, without their consent; to create a false identity or forged email address or header, or otherwise attempt to mislead others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of the message; to transmit Inappropriate Content as defined below; to transmit any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or any other harmful or deleterious programs; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the service, through password mining or other means; or to interfere with another user's use and enjoyment of the service or another entity's use and enjoyment of similar services. You will not use the site for illegal or defamatory purposes or in connection with material that does not comply with the laws and regulations of the various regulatory regimes in Australia including but not limited to the Broadcasting Services Amendment (On Line Services) Act 1992 (Cth).
Inappropriate Content includes all language, comments, remarks and images which is in Sportal's sole and absolute discretion: obscene, abusive, unlawful, racial, defamatory or harassing or which infringes upon the rights of others or which restricts or inhibits other users from using or enjoying forums or chat rooms or which may harm or damage the reputation of Sportal in any way.
5. SPORTAL'S RIGHTS
Sportal shall be entitled to discontinue the website services or any of the additional Community Services, or to disable any particular user's account or access rights at any time with no notice.
Sportal reserves the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions after you have been given notice of any changes.
In relation to any email service provided on this Site, Sportal may terminate such account for inactivity, being a failure to log in to the service 10 days or later after registration and, subsequently, a failure to use the account for 120 days since your last log-on. In addition, Sportal may delete unread email after 90 days. Sportal shall have no obligation to maintain any content in your account or to forward any unread or unsent messages to you or any third party.
Sportal shall have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor any publicly posted material and to, without notice edit, delete or remove any material postings or comments that it deems inappropriate or otherwise in violation of this agreement.
6. DISCLAIMER / LIABILITY
Use of the site and the facilities thereon, and any material or information obtained from this site (all of which is provided free of charge) is at your own risk, and Sportal hereby expressly disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all warranties, express or implied, of any kind whatsoever including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and infringement. In addition, Sportal shall not be responsible for the failure of performance of this site and/or the software used thereon or obtained therefrom; the loss of data or services resulting from delays, non-deliveries, mis-deliveries, or service interruption; the accuracy, quality, timeliness, completeness or nature of information obtained through its services; any omission in the information provided; nor the consequences arising from or related to any viruses transmitted through its servers, or any liability, costs, loss of profits or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to access this site, save that liability for death or personal injury is not excluded.
In relation to User Content Sportal shall not be responsible for any such content posted by users in chat rooms or other community areas. All such content whether expressed as opinions, statements or recommendations, are those of users expressing such views and are not those of Sportal.
This site may be linked to or from other sites that are not maintained by Sportal. Sportal does not control in any respect any information, products or services offered by such other sites and shall NOT be responsible for the content of such other sites. For example, users may be able to buy goods and services via the site, some of which may be through third party retailers who link to the site. Users may also enter into correspondence with or participate in promotions of advertisers on the Site. Sportal in no way endorses these third parties and any such transactions, dealings, correspondence with or participation in promotions of, third parties, including the delivery of and the payment for goods and services and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such matters are solely between the corresponding user and the third party. Sportal assumes no liability, obligation or responsibility for any part of any such transaction, dealing, correspondence or participation.
You agree to indemnify Sportal in respect of any liability or any costs, loss of profits, loss of data, or consequential losses arising from a breach by you of any of the terms of this agreement.
7. JURISDICTION
This User Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian and Federal Courts of Australia.
8. SEVERANCE
If any provision(s) of the User Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.
9. WAIVER
Sportal's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the User Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by Sportal in writing.
GENERAL RULES
• We are not responsible for unauthorized use of your reward points.
• We are the final authority as to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions and as to any other questions or disputes regarding the Program or any Reward.
• If we allow an exception to the redemption rules for any reason, this does not constitute having waived any of our future rights to administer the program.
• The awarding of Sportbet.com Rewards points and the redemption of Rewards are void where prohibited by law.
• It is not allowed to accumulate points by purchasing them in order to redeem a reward.
• Membership in the Program and all related benefits are offered at our sole discretion.
• Sportbet.com reserves the right to terminate the Program at any time.
• We can change these Terms and Conditions, any Program features, benefits or rules, redemption procedures, change or cancel Rewards and the terms or conditions of any other Program documents, all without notice, and even though changes may affect the value of reward Points already accumulated. For example but without limitation: add, delete or change, suppliers, time limits for how to collect, redeem or use reward points, Rewards, travel restrictions, or any fees or charges or taxes payable by you.
• If we cannot confirm that points were properly issued or obtained we may refuse to record or honor them.
• It is your responsibility to check the Member Agreement page of the Sportbet.com Web site regularly to determine whether this Agreement has been modified.
• If no reward points are recorded in your Account for 12 months we may terminate your enrolment.
• If at any time you commit fraud, misrepresent any information, violate any of these Terms and Conditions, abuse your Program privileges or, in any other way, act to the detriment of us or any affiliates or Suppliers of the Program, we may, without affecting our other rights, terminate your enrolment and/or cancel your Points.
• If a reward Point is cancelled for any reason it becomes void without compensation and may not be redeemed.
ACES/ACES IN GAME
- We will look at all available evidence to determine the result of 'ace' bets in order to make a fair determination of whether the service was in fact an ace. Our decision in respect of such bets shall be final and we reserve the right to 'No Contest' such bets and refund stakes where it is impossible to conclusively determine whether a serve was an ace based on all available evidence at the time.
POINT WINNER
- Bets placed on the winner of points that do not take place will be deemed a 'No Contest'.
- Where a player is handed a code violation by the umpire and a point is awarded to their opponent, bets placed on the winner of the next point will be deemed a 'No Contest' and stakes refunded. For example, after the 3rd point in a game Coria is handed a code violation and a point is awarded to Federer, all bets on the '4th point winner' will be settled as a 'No Contest'. However, we will count a code violation point in order to settle the total number of points in game.
